Who we are
Flounce Apps (“we”, “us”) makes mobile apps. This policy covers all of our apps, on every platform, and the website flounceapps.com. If you have a question about it, write to us at the address at the end of this page.
What we collect
Nothing. Our apps have no sign-in and no servers of ours behind them. They contain no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code, from us or from anyone else. We don't see what you write, save or track in our apps. We don't sell, rent or share personal information, because we never receive any.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter in our apps (entries, lists, photos you add, settings) is kept in the app's own storage on your device. If an app offers cloud sync and you turn it on, or your device makes backups, that data goes to your own personal cloud account. Your platform provider handles it under its own privacy policy, and we can't access it. You can delete your data inside the app, and deleting the app removes it from your device.
Permissions, and why
Photos, camera & more
If a feature needs access to your photos, camera, calendar, health data or similar, your device asks you first. The app uses that access only for the feature you open, on your device. Nothing is uploaded or sent to us. You can change access at any time in your device settings.
Notifications
Reminders you set are scheduled on your device itself. We don't run a server that sends them, and we don't know when or whether you get them.
In-app purchases
Purchases and subscriptions go through the app store you got the app from. The store processes the payment, and the app only checks with it whether your account owns the purchase. Refunds, cancellations and purchase history are handled by the store.
Sharing & ratings
When you tap Share, the content goes only to the app or person you pick. An app may sometimes show the app store's standard rating prompt. The store handles it, and we don't see who rated or how.
Children
Many of our apps are made for families. None of them collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU and UK). Parents don't need to share any of their own or their children's details with us.
This website
flounceapps.com uses no cookies, analytics, ads or third-party scripts and fonts. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for a short time to keep the site running and secure. We don't use them to identify or track you.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. We hold none, so there's nothing for us to hand over or erase. Everything our apps keep is on your device and under your control.
Changes
If an app ever handles data differently, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
